The company worked with local ME trade partner Packmatic , based in Johannesburg, on the specifications required. “Purchasing two of the wrappers gives us flexibility for peaks and troughs in production,” explained Jeremiah Makhomu, operations executive, Entyce Beverages. “And as the machines can operate at between 30 and 50 packs/minute, this will enable us to expand production capacity in future.”

One existing customer commented “we purchased three TM series machines about this time last year and we are still very happy with the quality and efficiency of the machines”.

The decision to use this exhibition, for the Semi-Auto product launch, was an outstanding success for Marden Edwards. This specific model and specification, tailored to the Perfume industry, proved to be the correct decision and resulted in a confirmed order on the first day and a further two orders, which will be followed up by our Middle East distributor, Clearpack.

We had many meetings with existing customers, with one in particular commenting “ We purchased an LX 100 from you last year, which still performs very well, we are very happy”. They have subsequently purchased two further machines, B125 and most recently another LX 100, which they are again very happy with.

Marden Edwards are heading back to the exhibition arena, in not one, but two countries this week, starting with Rosupak based in Moscow. Tony Strutt, the area sales manager will be present at the show, taking place from 15th- 18th June. Our second destination will be Propak Asia from 16th– 19th June based in Shanghai, where Ben Hawes, the area sales manager for China, will be present.

We are demonstrating our new SEMI-AUTO, no change part, overwrapping machine, with the capabilities for rapid and precise changeovers. The machine will be showcased overwrapping a wide variety of perfume and cosmetic cartons , including a range from our esteemed French customer Givenchy .

Presenting our latest BX100FF machine, with front feed pocket infeed conveyor, linked addition to the Rollem Revolution and Jet stream playing card system, and in co-operation with Rollem specialist finishing systems, the BX-100 will be demonstrating the overwrapping process of Rollem playing card decks, with overwrapping speeds of up to 50 packs per minute.
