To ensure that its products are completely protected from the factory to the consumer and that the freshness of its products is guaranteed, the manufacturer overwraps their range of tea biscuits.

The LX60 machine supplied to Ziegler & Herzinger has been specially designed to be built into the Mirus round cornering machine to provide a fully integrated card slitting, round cornering and individual pack wrapping system.
Marden Edwards has recently supplied one of its B100LH8 collating and overwrapping machines to a multi media supply company in California, USA. The application involved the collating and over wrapping of two plastic, DVD style, clamshell cases which contain digital media devices.
Marden Edwards has recently supplied one of its LX150FF confectionery over wrapping machines to a German company that manufacturers Advent Calendars. This is the second Marden Edwards machine that the customer has purchased, the last one being over ten years ago.
A major American pharmaceutical company has installed a number of overwrapping lines supplied by UK machinery manufacturer Marden Edwards Ltd and several of the lines are equipped with specially designed turning units, enabling them to handle both standard rectangular and fith panel cartons without any major adjustments or slowing down of the lines. Altogether the customer uses 13 different sizes of carton for the creams and lotions it produces, all of which are wrapped in groups of six for distribution. While grouping rectangular cartons into a uniform collation ready for wrapping is a simple task for the Marden Edwards BX 125 collator/overwrappers already supplied, the fith panel cartons require extra handling.
Marden Edwards Limited has recently supplied a large pack format overwrapper to a Canadian company which manufactures re-closable freezer bags. The multi pack format was demanded by the end user, a world famous American retailer. The presentation of the collated product was crucial because of the requirements of minimizing shelf space used but at the same time providing as large a retail display face as possible.
